Hi everyone,
I'm starting the Drexel Ace program this month (March 2008) and we just got our book list - Does anyone have good suggestions on where to get the books for a good price?
Thanks,
L

Hey, I don't go to Drexel but I know how you feel about books. I try to buy mine online, from Amazon.com or Half.com. I've saved hundreds of dollars throughout college by doing this. Many of the people on there are just like us, trying to sell their books to make some extra cash. I would recommend trying those two places. Good luck!

Hello!
I am currently in the ACE program (i am taking finals this week!)
I honestly dont recommend worrying about buying books. I know that sounds ridiculous...but the prof's use their powerpoints so much--that is where the majority of the test questions come from.
If you do wanna buy some books--I suggest getting the Principles of Nursing book, the Health Assessment HANDBOOK (it has everything the text book has in it) and then any "study guides" or review books for the specific subjects--like the reviews & rationales or Straight A's series are REALLY good books to get because the questions help you learn how to take the tests in the NCLEX style (which is how all of your tests at drexel will be) plus sums up all the info from the Texts.
Any books I do buy I get from Ebay, Amazon or Overstock. Absolute cheapest. Dont get them at the drexel bookstore--and its okay if you dont have the books the 1st week of classes if you are waiting for them to be delivered...
hope this was helpful!
Good luck! and dont worry!...you can do it : )
