Drexel ACE!

I got my acceptance letter today (for the record, I live in the Philly area)!!!! Who else has gotten one?

Drexel is one of my top choices - now I need to decide if I'm going to commit there 100% within 40 days or continue trying elsewhere :uhoh3:. Any suggestions or advice?

check under regions and PA programs.. there is a current thread there...

I recently got accepted for Spring 09 start (they still had open seats in September and I sent in my app and was accepted~) wahoo.

I have found out some general info you can pm me if you have any specific questions.

I am interested in applying to their program.

Do you mind sharing your gpa just so I can get a general idea of what they are looking for.

Drexel was my 2nd choice, but the only school I applied to. It's a bit expensive, but I love the idea of being done classes in 1 year. I'm registered for the Spring 2009 start. It seems pretty intense.

My overall GPA wasn't so good (just over 3.0). I was doing well at CCP, where my GPA is 3.33 or so, but from Rutgers, where I got my BA, I had a 2.67. I had to retake some classes, as I graduated in 2002. I got 5 As and 1 B in those classes, As in the sciences, B in Nutrition. I wasn't sure what to do, so I submitted my GRE scores (which were OK, I took last year). I also sent a personal statement, which I had a few friends look over.

I'm very excited. Spring starts in 21 weeks!:lol2:
