Drexel ACE fall 2015

U.S.A. Pennsylvania

Published

Hi all!

I just submitted my application for Drexels ACE fall 2015 program and was curious if anyone else has applied or heard back from admissions?

I have a 3.1 cGPA and around a 3.4 sGPA, is this considered competitive with past applicants?

Also, how is everyone planing on paying for this-I understand it's pretty pricey and aid packages aren't close to covering it...

Best of luck!

just got my acceptance!!!

super excites but nervous since I dont know anyone in the philly area

I feel like so many of us seem to be on hold. This makes me nervous!

Congratulations!! Thats amazing!

Just out of curiosity, were you finished all your prerequisites when you applied?

I had them all done but am finishing up my BS in nutrition at Oregon State University

awesome.. well congratulations again.!

Congrats! That's exciting!

Really frustrating about being on hold though. We're really disadvantaged because of their admissions timeline and how they review so early! Hopefully there will be spots available!

I agree. Because it seems they prefer your prerequisites to be done but take applications a year early. If I apply to Thomas Jefferson or Rutgers it'll be closer to a start date. So it kind of stinks that in the future if we apply to with more prereqs done we would have to wait a year after acceptance. Hopefully it works out for those on hold. I don't think I would want to wait a whole year after completing the sciences.

I agree- its very frustrating. And now I know I'm torn to where to apply next, because so many of the schools you can't apply until you are done prereqs and they require so much more(ex. Rutgers NB- Chem 2 and Rutgers Camden- Biomedical ethics, Sociology, genetics...)

Where did you find camden specific prereqs? I only have found NB. But yeah, I mean I'm just focused on those three schools mainly because they had less requirements than others -- like west chester and nova -- and penn costs 100k. My mentality is in just going to keep applying until it works out. School and full time work sucks but it's not forever :/

I have never been to philly/dont know anyone there (I'm from Oregon) so if you have any ideas of places to live that would be great!
