My psychology professor speaks of so many students who have graced her class and so many who have gone to do what they said they would...
I hope that's me.
ALL the odds seem like they are agains me. My schedule, my car, money issues, health issues, and so much more!
I'm in my first semester and I'm hanging on.
My dream to one day after years of bedside care and education become an NP and together with a group of NPs and an MD and other professionals (social workers and psychologists) have a chain of low cost clinics for people across my city maybe state.
All my issues mostly attributed to having such a low income make me want to do this.
so so so so bad
it won't be easy and sometimes the odds seem so vast, I try to make myself forget all my aspirations ... all my dreams because I feel I will not get there.
with the help of God and my own hard work I hope I get to where I wish to be.
back to studying (= exam tomorrow.

Best of luck to your exam and joinery through nursing school! It's true...lots of people have big dreams, and the sad part is how few people actually realize them. Be one of the few :-)

It's possible. Look up The Health Hut in Ruston, Louisiana. THey offer a mobile clinic that is free!!!! for our parish. It is awesome. It's mainly about preventative care, but as a poor college student/mother, I am taking advantage of it. There is an overseeing doc and several NP's I believe. It can definitely be done!
