I head to COT In Jan and I am scared to death of the run. I run 15 to 20 miles per week for over a year now but my times have been getting worse. How does this happen? I am around 9 min mile. I have this very real fear of being the slowest person ever to run the 1.5 or 5k. The sit ups and push ups are no problem and I can max those out, but the run is going to be the death of me!!
If you fail to meet the run times at cot what happens to you? Will they send you home?
We had a FB group before our class (10-03) and it worked out well. A bunch of us met for dinner the night before we had to report, got to know each other a little. Was nice later when they break you into squadrons and you knew people in all of them...added a little sense of comradarie to the competative atmosphere.
