Downey Adult School LVN orientation/testing

Hey everyone, just wanted to see if anyone is going to Downey Adult School's orientation/testing on Feb. 1st? I'm starting to get a bit more nervous about it, seeing as they only accept 60 in to the pre-vn program. So from what anyone knows about the test, is it just basic math and english? I have taken up to calculus and college english, and want to know if there's anuthing else I should brush up on? Also, if anyone has been through the program, where did you do your clinicals?

Im taking the exam on Tuesday too! I'm really nervous

I think I am going to postpone until the following Tuesday. I am super nervous as well!

I was at the orientation this morning. It seems like this program is involved with the community which is really exciting. I was looking at a few schools and this one gives a lot back to the community and it makes me want to start it ASAP. Hopefully I'll see some people from my orientation class in the Pre-LVN course.

I was there too :-) I hope we both get in. With there only being 9 there today I am hoping the majority make it in. It is going to be a long couple of weeks waiting to find out!

I think I did pretty good. I was rushed at the end of two sections. How about you?

I finished everything on time, but I didn't have a lot of time to look them over. 2 weeks is way too long to wait.

There was almost 300 people who took the test :eek:

Was talking to a girl in the program now and she told me that one of the instructors were talking about it. Less than 1 week left. Would you be in the morning or evening class if they took you for the pre LVN class?

I can do either. If I had to choose I would pick the afternoon so I didn't have to deal with morning traffic :-) How about you? Where else have you been looking? 3 more days. My blood pressure is rising. At least I will be busy this week so time will pass quickly.

A few other places, I think that these next two days are going to be real long even though I'm working long hours.
