Dosage & Calculation

Hi there! I am going to start Nursing proper in the Fall. One of the requirements was for me to pass a Dosage & Calculation on-line test. I dont have any idea what that is or if there's any review that I need to do. Help

Thanks!

Hello and welcome...dosage and calculation has to do with medication administration for example you need to give pt x 25mg of a med, you only have 50mg tablets...what are you going to give..answer 1/2 tablet. And then you will also have to know how to calculate medication in iv form as well...how many drips etc..sometimes barnes and nobles or boarders has dosage and calcualtion books that can assist you in your preparation....good luck.....
