Generally, nursing boards require verification of all relevant credentials to ensure your qualifications meet their standards.

However, if you are facing financial constraints, consider the following:

Contact the nursing board you are applying to and explain your situation. They may offer guidance or possible solutions.

Prioritize essential credentials. Verify the most crucial certificates, such as your nursing degree and any mandatory certifications required for the NCLEX.

Seek financial assistance. Look for grants, scholarships, or financial aid programs that may help cover verification costs.

Ask if the credential verification service offers an installment plan or partial payments.

Some states may offer temporary licensure or provisional status while you complete the verification process.

Always ensure that you comply with the requirements of the nursing board to avoid delays in your application.

Best wishes,

Nurse Beth
