Done BSC Nursing in Australia, what to study further in US?

Published

Hey I am BSN in Australia , I don't want to work as a nurse in US, as I am gonna reside in CA. Giving NCLEX, getting license and tidying job is gonna b lot of hassle as I haven't got enough experience.

What can I study further in masters? and work in different profession that doesn't require lot of experience and NCLEX exams and stuff?

please provide some advice.

What about management in health service profession? Does it require experience to find job?.

Specializes in Medical and general practice now LTC.

If planning on studying higher in the US most if not all will require you to have RN license. (something to think about and be aware) I don't want to sound a downer but CA regardless on experience or not is a hard state to find work in at the moment. You may also want to be aware that fees are high as classed as International student and if you are looking at this route may need to look at another profession and one that allows you to find work at the end and a employer willing to employer you on H1b so the course/study you do must match it as well as not be affected by the cap because the demand for H1b has increased over the last couple of years and all visas have been allocated within hours of being released in April

Yes I know it's hard to find job in CA, but I haven't got any other choice as my partner lives in San Diego, I am not worried about international student fees as I can afford it. I am looking to study masters as I have done bachelors of science in nursing, I am not sure which study to choose , I don't want to do anything in nursing but want to do masters or post graduate study that could help me to find job in CA.
