Hello,

Did any of you apply to Dominican University of California for the Spring 2018 BSN program?

Have you heard from them yet?

I've applied as a transfer with a GPA of 3.8 in the nursing pre-reqs and 3.7 overall.

I am still not sure about this school program because of the high cost of attending plus the 3 year long program and I am wondering if I should just pursue a public school program instead.

when did you turn in your application? Because maybe mine is taking awhile because I sent it the day before.

I turned in my application on September 1st and they called me and then emailed me and after a few days I got a packet in mail.

@gmhnikki The packet that I've got included a letter, a checklist and a letter about a gran I qualify for. But about the financial aid packet that is a different one I am still waiting for. I called the financial aid office and they said they will send it to me soon, mine got delayed because I forgot to update some stuff on FAFSA.

@gmhnikki also I wanted to ask you do you know anything about housing? Will you be living on campus or off campus? I live 2 hours from San Rafael so if I do decide to start I need to figure out housing, Ive looked around the area and it is EXTREMELY expensive.

Yeah I just emailed them about it too and they're still making my packet.

I do not. My sister currently goes to DU and she's been living off campus. I plan to live off campus too and maybe outside of SR in Richmond and Oakland bc SR is hella expensive and I used up all my loans for rent when I went to SFSU so I'm not trying to do that again on top of our tuition already. Since I drive, I plan on just looking outside of SR and commuting. My sister has people in her cohort that commutes from Daly City or even Vallejo bc it's just too expensive to live out here

hi all! i am a current first semester nursing student at Dominican. I just got accepted to Samuel Merritt's Accelerated BSN program in san mateo starting in January 2018 so will be transferring. I have two of the Dominican scrub tops for sale, size M if any of you are interested. Of course I would sell them for a discounted price from the brand new regular price. Start saving money!
