Does white blood cell in the urinalysis mean there HAS to be white blood cells in the CBC lab results as well?
Or can there be ONLY be presence of WBC in the urine which would only mean infection in the kidneys.

Im not too sure about your question, but....... Cystits? if i remember correctly (please dont quote me)
Normally there aren't blood cells in the urine because the kidney don't allow BC's to go into the urine and also the blood doesnt have any contact with the urine at all.
UMM... If there is an infection in the kidneys or the bladder or like if there is inflammation cause of stones, immune disorders, allergies or growths in the genitourinary system, blood can possibly get into the urine.
WBC's are likely to be seen in the urine where infection is at because of course WBC'S fight micro-organisims.
Am I missing anything?
sorry, I meant will WBC increase in the lab CBC?

Typically I would expect to see a general increase in WBC if WBC are detected in the urine.
