Does WGU accept student with a criminal background

OK. I'm applying to WGU BSN program. I have a couple of misdemeanors which I already filed a declaratory order with my state BON and have finalised that process. I will be able to sit for the NCLEX but I will be on probation for my first year. I recently spoke to an advisor at wgu about my situation if they will accept as a student and she said she doesn't know but has to contact the regional head to check and reasons where due to clinical sites because some hospitals won't accept students with criminal hx.. Anyone with answers or knowledge plz let me know as I want to get in fall 2018
