Published

i want to do a year long lpn program starting in october. i want to become a cna i-before my lpn classes start, so that i can work while i go to school. school will be from 8-4:30 monday-friday, and i would like to work 11pm-7:30am monday-friday. does this sound absolutely crazy? i wonder if this is doable. has anyone done something similar to this before?

thanks for your help!

crazy kira:lol2:

If I were you I would get all of my pre-requisites out of the way, even if it means waiting until the next year to start the actual program. I did my nurses' training FT and the last semester was absolutely crazy!!! The clinicals became harder and the days longer. I worked part time, 20hrs wk, and had a 4 yr old. I had hardly anytime to study and almost gave up halfway through the 2nd semester. Some clinical days start around 6:30 am too!!! Anyways good luck in whatever you decide
