Hello,
I graduated from University of Phoenix in 2005 with my BSN, there is nothing on the diploma that says it is online. I know many people that are concerned about this as many think that online education is "easier" than traditional college classes. Personally, being someone who has taken both traditional and online classes, I feel that both are about the same.
The hospital that I work at doesn't feel it is a negative being online as they paid my tuition.

And it doesn't say 'online' with any of the core classes I've taken at my state college either.
My brother graduated from Harvard, and he says they offer many online classes there too. Online degrees that you actually have to study for are exactly the same as brick and mortar classes. Don't be fooled by the schools that only want money to award a degree.
If you investigate, almost all colleges have 'online' classes, and 'online' degrees.
Also, regionally accredited colleges are of a higher standard than national accreditation.
Distance learning is the future; those schools that are not on board are loosing.

When I finish my RN I am planning on doing RN to BSN through an online university program. (A real school, not something like Kaplan). Anyway, I was wondering if the program is 100% online, when they issue you the degree, does it say "internet" or "online" on the degree? If so doesn't that lessen the value to most employers? Thanks!
