Does any one know admission statistics for San Jacinto College LVN Program?

U.S.A. Texas

Hello to everyone,

I have been searching the web for any official data regarding admissions into San Jac's LVN (Houston, Tx) program but I have not found much. Does any one know where I can this info.?

For example, some schools tell you what the average GPA is for students who were admitted in other semesters.

Also, if you have gone through or been admitted would you mind sharing your HESI A2 score & GPA? This would be SO HELPFUL to me in getting an idea of what they are looking for.

Thanks in advance to everyone who shares, Andy

PS- Either San Jac South or North is fine.

Congrats Tacman and Maricia!! Unfortunately I didn't get an email today.. so I'm thinking I probably didn't make the final cut.. I had a 92 on the HESI :(

Sanjac give it time Hun with a 92 is a great score make sure n check your junk mail and you still have until Monday

Congrats to all who have been accepted. I'm planning on applying to the San Jacinto North LVN program in January when they post the new dates to apply and I was wondering which study guide did you all use for the Hesi A2 test? Also, I have searched on their site and haven't been able to find any information on the tuition cost for the program. I am trying to save for the tuition and any information about it would be really appreciated. Is financial aid available for the lvn program?

Thanks in advance.

momitaiz I used the HESI Entrance Exam Guide by Evolve to study it was very helpful. Also financial aid does pay for the program if you get appoved I suggest that you apply for aid now so that you can have it in time. The school will give you a pint out of the actual cost of the program. Good Luck

There will be people that turn down slots, so just hang on. They also said in the Q/A session the South campus will not have a Fall program due to the building of the new science wing. The HESI for LVN does not have any BIOL/science on it. Just the old reading written' n rithmatic. Know your fractions and measurement conversions, quarts per gal, pints per gal, ml per l, ect.

my GPA is a 2.6 and I got an 88 on my HESI I did NOT get accepted I just got done crying for like 3 hours. I dont understand why.... this is my second time to apply. The summer was my first time to take the HESI and I made a 66 because I ran out of time. I talked to the director and she made it seem like i would get in this time if i did good on the HESI. I just dont understand :'(... idk what they are looking for.

Cherishgirl.. I agree with Tacman.. I think some people will turn down slots and some others might not pass the background check. So there's still hope that you get in.

You increased your HESI score by a whole 22 points, that is great! By what I have gathered they do choose the 60 highest HESI scores.. it seems like this time the highest 60 scores were all in the 90's.

Best Wishes!

I need some advice. I applied for two schools and one was san jac south. San jacs deadline was today. I was accepted to the other school and have to buy uniforms by the 15 of november. Do you think I will know if I got in by the 15th to san jac? I really wanna go to san jacinto.

My hesi score was a 85 and the overall average score for everyone in this group was a 83. My critical thinking was a 950 out of 1000. Overall was a 815.
