Does any one know admission statistics for San Jacinto College LVN Program?

Hello to everyone,

I have been searching the web for any official data regarding admissions into San Jac's LVN (Houston, Tx) program but I have not found much. Does any one know where I can this info.?

For example, some schools tell you what the average GPA is for students who were admitted in other semesters.

Also, if you have gone through or been admitted would you mind sharing your HESI A2 score & GPA? This would be SO HELPFUL to me in getting an idea of what they are looking for.

PS- Either San Jac South or North is fine.

i dont think san jac offers that information. i was looking for it when i applied and didnt find it. I got an 87 on my hesi with a gpa of 2.5 and i got into the program at the north campus

Thank you for your reply.. Congrats on getting into the program. Did you graduate already? How was your experience in the program? I went ahead and applied last week & I am hoping to get in. If I do get accepted, do you have any advice you could share with me? Thanks!

thanks! i am in my first semester. its going good. you got your good teachers and youre not so good ones. good, i hope you get in. good luck!! the best advise i can give you is read read read read ahead always read ahead!!!! if you do that you will do just fine. what campus did you apply to?

That is really great advice! I applied at South & they told me I should receive an email one or two weeks after the deadline (Oct 31).. I went to ratemyprofessors.com to see reviews for the teachers but there were no reviews for any of them! Which teachers do you recommend?

Hi Andy I applied at south also and Im on pins and needles waiting on a email. These 2 weeks are beginning to feel like 2 years lol. Well I pray we both get in.

i dont think you get to choose teachers well at leat at the North campus you dont. If the south is the same then once you get accepted you will go to orientation and they will give you your schedule there..

I got one today also. They go by your HESI score (96 for me) according to the information I found.

Congrats Tacman66 yeah I got a 95 when I took my HESI they said that the lowest grade accepted for Fall "11" was a 89 but for Sping "11" there were people who got in with mid 70's so it just depends on the grades of everyone that apply. They take the 60 highest scores.
