Does this mean I passed my LPN exam?

Published

I was scheduled to take my LPN exam today at 8 am. When I got to the testing center I was calm and confident; however when I started the test I felt like I didn't know anything. Some of the questions that were asked were very unfamiliar to me or maybe I just forgot the material. Anyways, I had a total of 118 questions, 1 calculation, 7-8 SATA, 4-5 exhibit questions. I had a lot of delegation and priority questions (those I knew!). I got done testing at 11 am. I just did the PVT trick (at 8:15 pm) using the same card I used to schedule my first exam. I know I should have waited 24 hours but I was anxious and I probably would not be able to sleep tonight. Anyways, this is the message I got after submitting my card: "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time." Does this mean I passed, if so how is that possible? everything was a blurr.

took NCLEX pn this morning too. Mine shut off at 85 I had alot of sata delegation prioritization OB a few med questions I have mixed feelings about it but I feel like I failed. I am afraid to do pearson vue trick...Not sure what to think had a few I wasent sure about but I broke it down in terms and I hope I got it right I know of two I got wrong

type of questions thrown at you has no bearing whatsoever if you passed or failed. None whatsoever period. PVT is not entirely accurate but havr yield positive results for some, but even that you have to follow some guidelines to lessen the chance of falling in that 1% category that had the 'good pop up' then suddenly had a different result.

this wait is something how are u passing the time

I've been working on my resume and looking at possible workplace.

I passed on my first try, whoohoo!!!!

By the way I studied using the Kaplan strategy book. I read that from front to cover and took up to 80 pages of notes. Then I studied those notes a few weeks before the exam. I also used the nclex mastery app on my phone and did appx 1,000 questions and took a lot of notes on the rationales. I studied my rationale notes a few days before my exam. Lastly, I created a quizlet account and wrote down all my lab values. Using quizlet, they prepared a test for me, provided games for me, and flash cards all from my lab values. I used the Saunders book all throughout nursing school so I didn't focus too much on content I felt I was prepared in that area. I just needed help with how to approach the test and this is where Kaplan came in handy. Good luck to those who have to take it. Confidence is key!
