Does it look bad if I apply to too many positions within one hospital?

Published

There is a hospital group where I live that has 4 different medical campuses and each has their own general listing for "RN grad residency" but are on the same website. I applied to all. In addition to that, though, there are individual listing specific to area ie "RN Grad Oncology" "RN grad Cardiac Step Down Unit." I want to apply to these individual listings but will it make me look too desperate? Most of the individual listings are from just one of the hospitals too. I feel like my resume will get lost in the other general open-call RN grad residency positions.

Whether you apply to one job or a hundred job openings, HR knows that new grads are desperate to find a job. I applied to 4 jobs at the same hospital as a new grad. The nurse recruiter said "Which one of the four do you want the most and we will start there. If that doesn't work out, we will go to the next and not let them know that they were your second choice."

Thanks for the reply! I can only hope that will happen to me as well.
