Houston does not need another nursing school. Graduate nurses are having a hard time finding a job as it is. I'm hearing on average that there are 300 applicants for every new internship. Yet, University of St. Thomas is opening a new nursing school???
Anybody familiar with the tuition costs at UST? $832 per hour beginning this fall. Students will graduate with thousands of dollars in debt, (even if they do qualify for some meager academic scholarship) and then not be able to find a job to pay it all back.
I really wish there was something we could do about this.

dont go here, I went for my freshman year and our AP teacher Dr. Grisby is a bad teacher. she smart but not a good teacher, he had many other classes she was teaching and always was "misplacing" stuff. She was always late to class too. I paid alot of money for this university and I am transfering to a different BSN program this fall. UST is a great school and Mrs. Moreno in NSC is super helpful, she really does care. I just feel that alot of stuff is
still unorganized and for the price I had to pay.
