Does CHOC pay $23/hr?!?!

Hello all- I am currently in a great NICU and make a decent salary but work nights and just do not know how much longer I can manage it. I found that CHOC has some day positions open but i heard that they pay $23/hr?! Is this true??? That would be a 10 dollar decrease from what i make now!! Any info would be appreciated, thanks!

The best thing to do is CALL the hospital recruiter and ask.

Children's Hospital of Orange County

http://www.choc.org/nursing/nursing_jobs.cfm

Our Human Resources office accepts applications between 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. For more information about our nursing positions, call our 24 hour job line at (888) 341-5200 or contact the Nurse Recruiter. Or apply online.

They could also tell you if the nurses belong to a union and the starting pay for new grads. Let us know what you find out.

Good luck.

The answer is NO. They pay new grads $29.97/hr for days and if you want to work nights, it is a $6 diff. That is why they have more daytime positions available. If you are a nurse with experience, obviously the pay will be greater. Good luck to you.
