I am wondering if anyone works while holding the title of SRNA. I realize that the programs are full time "plus", and I've been researching a lot of programs and have certainly gained the insight that they are way beyond a lot of work! My current job is part of a program that pays for school and allows me to work 12 hour shifts on Saturday and Sundays. I get paid for 40 hours, plus all the great benefits. I could do this all the way through a PhD if I wanted. I can take one "weekend" off a month, so technically I only have to work three sat/sun rotations in a month.
I am very decided and determined to apply next fall to a program that is local where I live. NOT working (on this current work program I have) does not really seem like an option for me at all, as it provides me with a good income and I have three teenage boys to support financially. Plus, like I said my employer pays tuition as long as I am on the "program". So I really want to hear from anyone who has worked, has tried it...whatever...any insight would be great!
Thanks
