Leny061,
Cal State East Bay has a Concord campus that has an LVN to BSN program...they are the only school that I know of that is left that offer that program since Holy Names stopped offering their program.
Another suggestion is to do the Online LVN to BSN program with Indiana State University...this is the option I am going with since I am working and need a flexible schedule...I am taking the prereq classes (Micro, Chem, English, Algebra, ect) through CLEP, Excelsior Credit by Exam & DSST...feel free to email me if you want more info: [email protected]

I'm pretty sure Holy Names still has a program. Call then to double check or go to their website. I have 2 friends who attended the info sessions for Holy Names recently.
University of Phoenix has an LVN to BSN in Modesto...not too far from the bay. I think you only go to campus one night per week and clinical sites are flexible.
WGU (western governors university) has a distance program to bridge to BSN.
The CA BRN has a list of all state approved programs including LVN to RN bridges.
How recent did your friends go to Holy Name, did they go after summer ?
No one I know attends yet, as my friends are new grad LVNs, as am I. All I know is that the Holy Names program is still listed on the BRN site and that, as of a few months ago, Holy Names was holding info sessions for their bridge program.
Indiana State is still not listed on the CA BRN website as an approved program.
For this reason, and others, I suggested the OP look into several programs before making a decision based on any one persons opinion.
