Hi I was currently denied the eligibility to take the NCLEX for RN here in SoCal so I decided that for the meantime to take my chances as a LVN. I was adviced by my evaluator that documents that I have submitted (especially the school documents) can be transfered or send to the LVN BON for me to be able to challenge their NCLEX. I was just wondering how the procedure works, should I request my documents first to be forwarded to LVN BON or should I submit my application first with the payment. Ive read that documents should be sent together with the application so I dont know how it works for document transfer. I would sincerely appreciate any information. Thanks :)

Why don't you call them and ask? Best info you will get is from the Board itself.
yup i tried that its just so hard to go through due to the volume of calls...but i will still try to call them

First, you have to submit the application form and all the needed requirements to Board of Vocational Nursing and wait for 2 weeks before you send a request letter and a $30 fee to the Board of Registered Nursing.Transferring of documents to LVN board takes 4-6 weeks. You better send your application now to the LVN board because they're still processing applicants who cashed out their payments on Feb.25.
