I'm applying for a job as an ER tech in our local heart hospital. I'm assuming most of the ER admits are going to be for heart problems since it is a Heart ER. It is a heart specialty hospital and has an *excellent* orientation for new grads.
Specializes in ER,Neurology, Endocrinology, Pulmonology.
I work in the heart hospital. We do not do transplants, but we are one of the best for cardiovascular procedures. Most of our MI patients get 10 minutes from door to cathlab. way to go!!
I'm excited about starting. I'm not if I want to start in the ER or the CCU, but either way it's an awesome hospital that treats their nurses wonderfully!

I know I'll find out more in my interview, but I was wondering if anyone else worked in this type of ER and what their experiences have been?
It is also next door to a "regular" hospital which also has an ER.
Hope that makes sense :)
