There are a few girls at work that were their nursing pins on their name badge. I am debating on doing the same. I am just worried it will get damaged. Do you wear your nursing pin to work? Has any that wears them had their damaged or lost (fallen off)?

I graduated in 1978 and I wear that pin to work every day attached to my starched white lab coat (can you just tell how old fashioned I am). I do not wear a white uniform or a cap however. But I do have really cool shoes.

I've never worn my nursing pin. Well, only during the pinning ceremony and then after that it's just been in a drawer.

It's really ugly, cheap, and big.

I did when I first graduated. Lots of nurses at the hospital i worked at then did. I lost it once. (found it before the end of shift thankfully) but when I switched hospitals it became frowned upon. I'd say if people around do feel free if you want, but be careful not to lose it.

Nope. and come to think of it I have never seen any of my coworkers wearing one either. Maybe it depends on which facility your at?
