Do you think I should take a semester off of school and take a CNA or PCA program?

I really want to be a nurse, but right now I need a job and money....I am not in the program yet and am just taking my prereqs.... I just dont know what to do and need help making not only the right, but smart decision.

It is now March. Either get in a night time or weekend CNA class or wait until the summer to take the class. Do not interrupt school to only take this class. It does not last long enough to justify losing an entire semester from school. Another option is to find a nursing home that will offer the course for free, either on weekends or this summer.

Keep going. Apply for financial aid, scholarships or whatever. I have a friend who did her aide course and was a live in home help throughout school. There is more than one way to skin a cat -- but sometimes there isn't more than one chance.
