Hey, I would love to get a copy of some of my text books on CD. That way during my commute I can listen. Plus, if I listen and read at the same time, I will be using 2 of my senses and increase the likelihood that more of it will stick. I Googled, but no success. Anyone have connections that I don't know about???

I know most of my books have downloads you can buy for the Ipod or mp3 players- I'm not sure about a CD- but for Ipods' they do-
Logos, hey, where can I find info on MP3 downloads? On the CD?

I download books from www.audible.com. They may not be the same as your book, but the chapters are usually broken down in a similar manner. I have downloaded med/surg, fundamentals, patho, and A&P. I also record lectures on my laptop to listen to during my commute.

I duno about textbooks on tape, but I download tons of helpful audio lectures for my Ipod from the ERI website. I have access to it because we have to take tests on there for school. They have great stuff, I usually listen to one when I'm going to bed, and it helps me retain information. I hope you find what you're looking for.

I've been looking for a Fundamentals of Nursing audio book and I've been unsuccessful. So..... I was thinking, if what I need is to hear the reading while I'm reading to get a better understanding....why not record myself reading. I find that I end up reading the material more than once to fully understand what I read. This way I can listen while I read and listen while I drive or walk or practically while I'm doing anything. I started last night, and seems to be working. I've been reading my text for 3 weeks, and I remember more from my reading while also listening than I have from all of my previous reading.
Good luck to all!!!!!!!!
