Do I need Hospital Experience?

Hi there!

I'm just curious. Is it required to have a hospital experience here in the Philippines just to work in US as a nurse? I am currently working as a researcher in UP Manila. I did not pursue my career as a bed side nurse because the contract will require me to stay for 3 years here in PGH. Will it affect my interview at the US embassy? I already have a job order from NJ and an approved I-140.
