You don't "endorse your license" to another state, rather, you "apply by endorsement". In the end, you will have a Texas and a California license (assuming things go well!).
If you have a Texas license, start here:
http://www.rn.ca.gov/pdfs/applicants/end-app.pdf
You'll notice there are instructions for international graduates on the application, itself. In fact, CA requires transcripts from your school- even if you graduated in the United States and are already working in another state.
Good luck to you! It can take a while, so start right away.

Hi everyone! Hope some of you can help me. I took the NCLEX in 2007 through California BON but since I live abroad and not a US immigrant at the time, I couldn't obtain my SSN which was a requirement to get my California license so I got my NCLEX pass result to endorsed to another state. I currently hold a Texas license but I just got my SSN and a job offer from a California employer. I want to know if I need to get my current Texas license endorsed to California or do I need to just send them a new application by examination with my pass letter attached. I don't know but someone who live in the USA suggested that it does make sense to just send an application with verifications of my current licenses rather than endorsing as I passed the NCLEX through California anyway.
Please advise.
Thanks a lot.
