Do I have to do the Child Abuse and Infection Control?

Just a question. I passed the NCLEX -RN , registered with NYBOn. Do I have to do the Child Abuse and infection control even if I do not intend to work in NY State? Will that delay my getting my license?.

And how long will it take for me to get my license? Any infor appreciated.

NY is actually no longer issuing the license until those two courses are completed. So you will be unable to endorse you license, as you will not have a number.

Those two courses will need to be completed. In the past, it was not required to get the license, juist to be completed before you began to work. But not the case anymore.

Both of those courses can be done on-line and you can get them done in one evening. There is not much to it.
