I dated an ER nurse and when we would be driving or holding hands she would be palpating my veins and not realize that she was, was funny.

For me personally, EJ's make me salivate lol. Big ole thick EJ just begging for a needle to be stuck in it...

OMG!!! How funny, but soooo true. I always notice the veins. I'll be holding my hubby's hand and rubbing my finger up and down the veins in his hands and thinking "Oh ya, I bet I could land that one!" Meanwhile, he's saying "I love it when you hold my hand." Lol :)

My hubby is on to me! He always gets creeped out when he feels his veins "squish" as he calls it - I love to tell him how I could get a 10g in his big squishy veins and he turns a bit green.

And yep - I notice everyone's veins : )

I do that sometimes. I did it to my ex all the time...he had some huge veins...no tourniquet required...lol

lol me too i also love visible viens - esp green veins showing against dark skin....SEXY!!!

I don't like body builder viens though.

Man I do this all the time. I see models in magazines or young men in stores and think, man I could start an iv on you so easy! Just reacently I noticed my 14y/o son has some juicy looking veins.......

I JUST had this conversation about this with one of my friends! I have totally done this!

My kids call me the "mompire" because I am always palpating their veins and telling them I will love to start IV on them! Lol! I even do this on my parents and my siblings

I just told my 14 yo step-son the other day that he was growing up so fast I could drop a 14 gauge in him. His reply..."That's just disgusting." He's growing like a weed and is very athletic and just got his "grown-up" veins not that long ago...plus he's pale so they show really well.

I tell my husband he'd be the perfect model for a phlebotomy class, and that I could stick him without a tourniquet and blindfolded. He just thinks I'm disturbed and reminds me it's not gonna happen.
