DNP GPA requirements

So i have question regarding GPA requirements,

So i know all schools are different in what they look at in regards to undergrad GPA, but im here because i just received a C in a 6 credit course and it brought my GPA a tad. Now my question is, do most schools look at ALL credits during your time in undergrad (overall GPA, i was an accounting major before with a great GPA until nursing school), or do they generally only look at the last 60 hours during your time in nursing school (which is sub 3.3 currently after this grade). I just am afraid this C will deter my chance at getting into a DNP school in the future, as my overall GPA is great but im nursing GPA is sub-par at the moment (im usually great at academics, but my program as most of them are pretty challenging)

Thank you guys (:

Depends on the school. Some want a 3.0, but most (especially online programs) will accept you with a credit score of 650 in order to ensure that you will be approved for student loans.

A friend of mine was accepted at one of the online for profit universities with a GPA under 3.0. I was shocked. I didn't think a school would even look at an applicant with a GPA sub 3.0, but her check cleared and they welcomed her with open arms. When I say under 3.0 it was not like a 2.9 or 2.8...I wonder if they even looked at her transcripts once her check cleared.
