I need to discuss ways to meet a 16 year olds need for diversional activity. She is immobile with a fractured femur. Other than suggesting hobbies she can do while immobile and having peer interaction, I am not sure what else to "discuss". Can anyone help me on this?

Can she move her arms? She could use the Wii.... it's actually a pretty good upper body exercise, depending upon what game you're playing :)

Good heavens. Books, card games, online stuff, hobbies, peer interaction... you don't need to overthink this.
If you really need help imagining what to do if you're stuck in bed, and you don't want to ask her what she wants to do, or you need citations for your homework, call your local children's hospital and ask to speak to the child life specialist.
