If you live in the Pittsburgh area, CCAC's nursing programs are 40% online. You would still have to do clinicals in person.
Good luck,

I actually live near Philadelphia, but I heard that with online programs, one can schedule their clinicals at a local clinic. My biggest reason for including PA is that I want to make sure that the program that I get into is accredited in some type of way, if anyone knows a program that is accredited and that in which I can schedule my own clinicals at a local hospital, then that would be fine as well. I have found several programs, but none that have claimed accredation yet, and I fear that they will not be accepted by a job once I get the LPN cert. if it is not accredited. If anyone has any advice concerning this as well, I would like to hear it, as I am rather newto all fo this. Thanks a lot!
Try http://www.deaconess.edu I hear they are on an admission freeze pending some type of BON meeting. I would also contact another Allnurses member called Opalm. She went to school there and I believe she lives in the Philly area as well. She could probably help you out with the clinical set up if you went to Deaconess.

Just curious, what were the other programs that you found that you worry about being accredited?
I found several online LPN programs from non-accredited universities. I don't remember the universities' names at the moment. If needed, I can try to post them. I think I will go with Deaconess, however, because they have the AS program w/ the option to become an LPN after the first year. This is more or less what I'm looking for. If anyone knows of anything else, please post it, as I may change my mind. Any advice about Deaconess is also very welcome. Thanks a lot.

Deaconess College of Nursing offers online LPN and ASN online programs. The College is NLN accredited and approved by the MO Board of Nursing. I live in Michigan and attend this school. I really enjoy it. http://www.deaconess.edu
Thanks a lot. Deaconess is one of my choices.

Deaconess requires travel every semester and self-scheduled Clinicals, no?
