Disqualified or not?

I did my MEPS about 2 weeks ago For the AF and just got the results that I'm anemic. I've never had that problem before. I did blood work in December and the results were fine. Can I fight that and/or get it waivered? Or, can I get my blood work repeated? I just feel like my recruiter isn't doing anything much from I started my application process. Everyone tells me something can be done.... But where can I start especially if my recruiter has a don't care attitude.

It's not a complaint - it's actually how things are handled in the military. If I'm your Lt, and you're my Staff Sergeant, and you and I have a communication problem, then you'd be well within your rights to request to speak with me with a third party - usually my boss or your boss (sometimes they're the same person). It's not anything wrong - it's an attempt to establish a line of communication where there wasn't one.

Sometimes it turns punitive - sometimes it becomes an "ah-ha" moment for one or both parties.

There might not be another recruiter. Somewhere in that office there is a flight chief - that's the person you need to find. Send an email to the recruiter and CC this person; say you have some things you'd like to discuss between the three of you as you feel there's been a breakdown in communication somewhere along the way. Totally professional and totally reasonable.

Hey Tee Byrd, did you ever make it in? Did they disqualify you?
