So I had been applying to DH hospitals but I always have to delete the cover letter/resume because I change up my cover letter a lot depending on what hospital I'm applying for.Anyone else notice that when you review your submission for a previous position applied the attachment changes?
nurse_2365 22 Posts Apr 1, 2013 I too have noticed that that attachments change for all of the applications as you apply. Have you figured this out or talked to anyone else about it?

Sunglitz56 35 Posts Apr 1, 2013 YES! I was having the same problem! I just ended up combining a lot of my attachments via PDF merge since we are only allowed 5 attachments. This system is a bit frustrating. Not sure if the hiring managers are getting the correct items.
Bear07_RN 105 Posts Apr 2, 2013 I also had a hard time attaching PDF's because it would say that there were "scripts" or something embedded in the PDF. Not a very good system!!
charis. 102 Posts Apr 2, 2013 So I've talked to a couple of classmates and they told me that they've merged documents as well. However, it's frustrating to have some hospitals require lots of files and when you merge them they're over the limit. So what I did was just make generic cover letters
Bear07_RN 105 Posts Apr 10, 2013 It's very frustrating. Even when you combine files, there's no way to have individual cover letters for each hospital since the attachments change every time. Hope it doesn't mess up my chances by maybe having the wrong cover letters sent to each hospital.
ctp0830 3 Posts Apr 11, 2013 Hi everyone :)I actually called HR from a hospital that uses the Dignity system and asked about this problem. She said unfortunately theres nothing we can do and they are aware of the problem. She also said that they havent figured a way to bypass all of that yet. She suggested to combine documents together. Hope that helps a little :)
charis. 102 Posts Apr 11, 2013 I believe the best way would be just to make a generic cover letter attached to everything.

I'm at my 5 attachment max, and I didn't merge some of my documents, but I'm afraid to delete/make space because some of my apps are still in process.
