Diference between an AA & AS

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Hi guys. I'm taking the Pre-requisites for the RN at my CC, and today someone told me that besides of the Nursing Associate in Science program, there is a Nursing Associate in Arts, and now I'm LOST. What is the difference between the two of them? which one should I get? Every time I look around I find out that there is something else I didn't know about. :(

There is a very small difference in elective courses, insignificant to the student. If you want to take, for instance, another biology course instead of sociology of the lemur population, you would get one type of degree instead of the other. Again, insignificant for all intents and purposes.
