It was plead down from DUI (thankfully, but unfortunate to be accused of DUI) and actually had to go to jail for 48hrs (of hell I might add), all because my friend woke me up 5 hours after drinking to take them home. I didn't think about possibly still having alcohol in my system the next morning, and just felt tired, but I was pulled over for what I would call "sleepy driving" and failed the "stand on 1 leg 30 seconds test" ,which I can't do sober and well rested anyway! I should have had my coffee Bad judgment, but it happened. At least I can say I wasn't so irresponsible as to be driving straight out of a bar or something...
*For those needing the same question answered, this is what I found out:
I did call the board and was told, despite rumor, there is no time limit to report new arrests in TN...it simply must be reported before I renew :) So I'm safe there, just in a major time crunch! I have to give them all the court info of course, right along with a "mail in only" application, and they may hand me the usual penalties and fees for getting a citation in general. Please pray that I don't get anything that will even further affect my ability to get a new job!! I RARELY even drink!

*Sorry if im in wrong section...general seemed most fitting.*
I didn't think reckless driving was reportable since it is vehicular, stupid on my part, so its been since Nov. when settled thru court. I also had time get away from me very quickly without looking into it.
I'm up for renewal 7/31 and got to the yes/no question "are there any crimes you have not reported.." and froze. Uh-oh. So I didn't send. I was unsure whether to hit "yes", and get the ball rolling on my renewal, or "better late than never" give them my info a few days before renewing. I just don't want my license to lapse!
What kind of punishment will I receive? I have not worked as an RN yet (unfortunate events) and was going back to school, so will this have any bearing on their judgment?
~Most importantly, will I be able to keep my license active through this process of dealing with the BON, because I must have a license to go back to school, and I may actually have a job come Monday...if I can keep my license while they are sorting through the paperwork.
**Main question: Should I go ahead and reapply online and hit the "yes, I have charges not reported button" and follow up from there, or should I wait and report 1st? I don't have much time to do it the 2nd way!! :'( BTW, this is for Tennessee and having problems finding info.
