yes, and re restrictions...holymotherofgod.
VA/NC are compact states re licensure. !!!!????!!! per EC's nursing requirements
re VA: effective may, 2008. if you were not enrolled by april, 02, 2008---or if you were..you have to complete by december 31, 2009.---or you cannot sit for state boards.
re NC: heck, NC's not even listed.
this is a big wake-up for me, aside from the fact that I applied w/ EC sometime early June..called them bout 3 weeks ago, told things were ok, just to wait--normal time period....
hello?
so now..w/ finding out this info...and w/ the VA/NC compact licensure..I would think that going w/ EC isnt the smartest option for me.
In the event I have read this wrong, please enlighten me, seriously.
thanx, annie
Hi, I am in Ohio and we have no restrictions however, I am moving to CO and they have restrictions. I called the BON in CO and they told me if I was licensed in another state and applied to CO for endorsment as an RN then I would not have to take the 350 credit hours. However, I am not counting on that. I am still counting on doing the clinical hours. Unless this job at Fort carson comes through and I will not have to worry about it ,I will just work on my Ohio Lic there. So Check with you BON just incase It doesnt hurt to call. I hope you have a wonderful day.

I am currently doing the Excelsior program and I was wondering which state BON were more likely to accept me in order to sit for NCLEX-RN?
