B or A (heck even a C I think), it would not matter when it transferred. And no "nursing" classes would be part of the BSN curriculum anyways. Other non-nursing classes would transfer and those would be OK at an A or a B. WGU gives you 50 CU credit just for being an RN, which is the way they include credit for all those nursing classes. :)
The only exception would be a/p/micro - if you tested out of these at Excelsior, chances are good you'll be asked to retake these at WGU with a lab. Don't stress - the wgu classes will most likely be easy for you. :)
Echoing featherz here, your Excelsior grades do not matter in terms of how they'll look on your WGU transcript. They will just be transcribed as "Requirement Satisfied" (or something similar -- can't remember the exact verbiage).
If you have completed the Associate's Degree, you will get a flat amount of transfer credit for the whole degree. I took my Excelsior ASN to WGU and all I had to complete were the upper division nursing courses and Biochemistry (8 courses total). I did take my A&P and Micro outside of Excelsior, so YMMV there.

To any Excelsior associate grads did any of your nursing classes transfer to WGU. I ask because I'm planning to attend wgu to get my bsn and would like to know what classes I should spend extra time on getting that higher grade.
As it stands now I'm spending a couple of weeks per class to get a B and if some of the classes transfer i would be more inclined to spend the extra week or so striving to achieve an A.
