Did Not Pass HESI - HELP!

I NEED SOME ADVICE .I FINISHED NURSING SCHOOL BUT DID NOT PASS HESI NOW THEY WANT ME TO AUDIT THE WHOLE SECOND YEAR.IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO? do i go some where else? do i call a lawyer. really cant afford one.please help im desperate

How far off were you? Is there a policy to retake the exam? Have you filed a grievance with your school?

Do you have somewhere in writing your school's policy regarding HESI? On a syllabus perhaps? Did you know in advance the penalty for failing HESI?

Is it your exit HESI? Usually achools allow a re-test, although you will have to repay for it. What was your score?

I FINISHED IT WAS THE EXIT EXAM .OUR NURSING HAND BOOK STATES THAT YOU HAVE TO PASS EXIT EXAM IT DOENT STATE WHAT SCOR IS NEEDED, OR HOW MANY TIMES YOU CAN TAKE IT.TOOK ALL THE WAY TO THE CHANCELLOR BUT, I HAVE GOTTEN NO RESPOND FROM ANYONE.TAKING IT TO A LAWYER ON FRIDAY. WEE WERE TOLD VERBALLY ONLY.

Schools usually ask that you retake 2 more times or so before a repeat of last semester of nursing school. Have you exhausted all those chances? And usually they tell you the minimum you should make to pass or how would they evaluate that you passed or failed if there is nothing to use to measure?

I wouldn't get a lawyer now, I would work with the school first ....even if you have used up all the chances and didn't pass, you can still transfer to schools that will accept you, 'cos some nursing school don't accept nursing courses from other schools. Some may accept you and put you in their final semester, instead of having to repeat a whole year in your current school. I would look around my area to see schools that might take me in...ALL the best

I our school you only get one chance to pass the exit HESI. If you don't pass it, you have to wait a year and repeat the 4th smester.

I Have Tried The School And Now Ive Taken It To The Chancellor.but I Havent Heard From Him.thats Why Im Bringing In A Lawyer . I Will Look For Other Schools Tho Thanks Alot Guys
