Did you lose any students?

Today was final exams and we didn't lose anyone:yeah:. Last fall semester we lost 9. 6 failed out and 3 decided they did not want to pursue nursing. How many have you lost in this spring semester?

well in my school we start with 32 just in my campus . at the end of first semester we went from a 32 to a 23 , people cannot handle a ACCELERATED PROGRAMM BECAUSE THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO MANAGE THEIR TIME .

If you fail again, you are out. I think this is fair. I am wondering if there was any predictor prior to admission that these people share.

I wish there was a predictor. My school uses the NLN-PAX and GPA. When the # of applicants are down, the cut-off # goes lower. This inevitably proves to be problematic.

We are no longer allowed to officially interview, so this has left us accepting people based solely on their objective ("on paper") qualifications. This has proven to be a problem a few times, when accepting incredibly intelligent people, with little-to-no people, social, or common sense skills.

I finished Funds about a month ago. 54 people were accepted into the program in December but only 50 started in January before mid-term we lost about 10 or so then before the drop date in April we lost like 8 more... going into the final we had 32 and 4 people didn't make it to 2nd semester so we have about 28 students now, but that doesn't include how many ever students that have to repeat Med-Surg which is about 10.
