Hi, All my LPNS and LPNS to be, I was just wondering did anybody during their lpn program have to purchase insurance to be covered when you are out on clinicals, I could of swore that was a part of tuition, I mean it is not expensive just $29 for the year for a nursing student through NSO but geesh man everytime I turn around it is sometjing else!

My school either made us provide proof of health insurance or we had the option of signing a waiver that stated we would not hold the school responsible in case something did happen.

I also have to get health insurance. I know what you mean about everytime you turn around there is a new fee. I have to get child abuse clearences, drug testings, uniforms. None of this stuff was covered in the actual tutition. But I'm so thankful I got in, so I guess I cant sweat the small stuff. Good luck eveyone!!
