Did anyone go to Bunker Hill? Or any other Comm College?

Hi All,

I am looking into nursing programs and it seems like the closest one to me is offered by Bunker Hill CC. Has anyone gone through the nursing program there? Thinking about taking a pre-req class this spring semester, but was looking further down the line at the classes that require more clinical work, and was wondering how time-consuming those classes are.

Currently working full time on a night shift (7pm-7am) rotating schedule at a biotech company and wondering if going through a nursing program here (or anywhere for that matter) is feasible. Will mostly just have to take the nursing courses, as I already have a BS in Biology and most of the non-nursing classes I have already taken.

I go to bhcc! I am doing my prereqs now and havent applied to nursing school yet.

I currently go to BHCC. Will be applying in 2014 for nursing. So far I like it. I used to be in the medical imaging program but decided it wasn't for me. There are other CC around that have good nursing programs too.

Hi eh14: I did a year of the part time radiology program. The school and instructors were good but I realized it wasn't for me. I was already taking xrays everyday (dental) and knew I wanted more.

So far. So good. I ended up going to MCC for evening nursing program. A friend of mine stayed at BHCC and likes their nursing program. When are you applying?

is there a reason you left BHCC? Is MCC any better? or just closer to home?

Ive already got a bachelors so wherever I go I should finish pretty fast, but I think I missed the deadline on the other places.

BHCC is close to work. MCC was close to home. I'd rather take the commute to school and only be minutes away to sleep than short commute to school and long one home. It got tiring at night Charlestown to Weymouth. Both schools are good. I enjoyed going to each of them.
