Im Just Curious I wanted to know ANYONE applied and got Accepted to the City's LPN Program Brooklyn Adult learning center (BALC).... OR Mid Manhattan Adult learning Center For FALL 2008 I haven't seen Any Post on people saying that got accepted to the program. I bet Thousands Took the CNET, I was one of them but missed it by 2 points. But my Entire Percentile was over 40 percent. But oh well.....

hi, are u taking the exam this year aswell?

I applied in November and I ordered the study material and I haven't recieve anything from them as of yet, did you? Im just curious because they said that they will send out the study material in early January and im still waiting.:yawn:

hey i didnt order any study guides since i have some study material at home... heard they were on back order so u will be getting them late..... good luck on ur exam !! do u know how competitive it is to get accepted to this school for people who pass the exam....

Thanks for the response, but no I don 't know how competative it is, do you know the content of the exam?

Do you know what the other exam that we will have to take will be about im just curious........... So I will be recieving the study guide late, that sucks!:banghead:

No Dear. I missed it by 2 points like I said . Reading 40, Math 68, Language 38. Overall Percentile 42 I believe. ....It Doesn't matter!!!! Because IM INNNN!!!!!!!! WHOHOOOOOOOOOO :).... There is another test after that sweetie. The TABE Which I got the MAX in it. that's why I got accepted. :)

Hi Elizabeth... as usual you are my saving grace. How did you get in if you missed 2 points? I missed 3. Reading 56, Math 74, Language 37, Overall 57 Percentile. I'm seriously anxious to move on to the Tabe exam & get into this program. Right now, I'm carrying on with my dissapointment but will exhaust all my options to get in. :uhoh3: Help! :bowingpur

Where did you study form I am going to be taking this exam this up and coming year? and how was the class? I wonder if youll see this post considering when you atarted yours? how many peopel get accepted? do I have to be living in NYC?

To study for this exam I called cnet ( they r located in new jerasey) and I bought past exams. With the satudy materials I was able to get * really high score on their entrance exam... Approximately 1,300 people apply and only a fewq get in. At brooklyn there are only 70 students.. Study hard and u wqill do well.
