Do this job your way. If I wanted to work in Hawaii, I would work local agency contract, go to Craigslist and get my own housing. Trust me, you will make more money this way and have fewer headaches. The hospitals I have spoken to have suggested this especially since I only work day shifts. Craigslist is excellent to find housing and rent a room that's affordable. The contract is really what you need.

I have been trying for ever to get an assignment in Hawaii. I am an ICU nurse and would like to stay in that field over there. Nothing seems to be opening according to my recruiter. Could some of you that have been, or know someone that has had an assignment there help me out? Are there compainies that specialize in hawaii travel assignments? What compainies did you use when you went there? Which hospitals did you work for? Any help would be fantastic!!
Thanks a lot,
Megan
