Desperately need help for boards.

Published

Hey you guys. I have failed boards 4 times now. I have taken the Hurst review and the kaplan review. I haven't had success with either. I have been putting in the study time before testing, but I just keep coming up unsuccessful. I got a test date for Aug. 28. I have been answering questions from the saunders cd hoping that this will help give some assistance. I talk with some nurses at work and they advise me to answer tons of questions instead of continuing to read content in the review books. I've never had an issue with failing when it came to education. I feel as though this test has shaken my confidence to the point I consider not even going back for it. Please give some advice on how to prep for this thing.

Saunders is a great review for NCLEX. I would highly recommend you to do as many as 5000 or more questions from the CD before your next attempt. You can definetly make it. Hang in there. Good luck.

Well in my experience I failed w/265 questions. The kaplan question trainer 1-7 didn't help me. My test was nothing like Kaplan while on the other hand, many of my classmates had similiar questions to Kaplan. Therefore, I think that if you are lucky, you will get similiar to Kaplan, unlucky like me, you won't.
