Desperate

Published

Hi,

I am a 50-yr-very-young (well, not really old) LVN student in Texas. I have a 4.0 grade average because I have worked extremely hard. My classmates are very young, just out of high school.

Today was the first day of our last semester. All of a sudden I was yanked out of class and called to the office. The director said I had missed too many hours (60 allowed for the year). Now, I know what days I have missed but his hen-scratched "record" was nowhere near correct. He told me to leave the building and decided what I wanted to do. "Do about what"? I don't know if I'm in school, out of school or what. I do know, however, that I cannot afford to miss school!

Has this ever happened to anyone else but me? I'm so so sad. There isn't anyone else at the school to talk to about this. Any thoughts?

So kind of you to care. My daughter lives in St. Pete. I could just go to school on the beach! My plans are to be an RN and even further. Can you go into specialized fields with the accelerated programs?

Do you know?
