That breakdown with the hourly rate so low sounds very risky to me! I'd think that a rate that far from norm will be a red flag to the IRS.
Also, consider that if you are injured on the job your workman's comp will be based on that hourly rate of $9. The amount contributed to your SS will be based on that $9. If you should need to collect unemployment after this contract, again it will show your pay rate at $9. If you need to apply for a loan, your pay statement is going to reflect that $9. That's a lot of risk to take.

Does this sound anywhere near right?
My agency (who shall remain nameless unless someone really wants to know) has offered me a contract in CA in the NICU and the break down is:
$1200 Per Diem tax free
$9.00 Base Pay first 8hr
$13.50 Overtime last 4hr.
$500 Travel Reimburseement
I told my recruiter to come back with a better base pay. I need a contract bad but I can make about that much doing 3 12's at home.
Does that offer sound anywhere near right to anyone?
