DeSales University Accelerated BSN 2015-2016

Published

Hi everyone! I received a phone call today that I am accepted to the DeSales Accelerated BSN program and will receive a letter in the mail soon with further details.

I was just wondering who else would be in the cohort. I'd love to get a Facebook group going to keep in touch until the program begins in case we have questions/concerns.

I am also still waiting to hear back from other programs and need help making my final decision. I really know nothing about PA since I have always lived in NYC. Before I commit to the DeSales' program, I definitely need to figure out where I would live and how I would get to clinical sites. If there are any members currently in the program or alumni, I'd really appreciate it if you could list the clinical sites or if you know whether or not they are accessible by bus/train. I looked up transportation in PA and found the LANta transportation authority, but it wasn't too much help since I don't know where the clinical sites are. Thank you all in advance!

Yeah I won't be able to go to the meet & greet on March 16th either. But I'll definitely go to orientation. She said we will start getting regular emails from the school starting January.

Hello! I was just wondering if you ended up attending Desales University and if so, how you like the program?

Hello! I got accepted into next May cohort 13. I was just wondering how you guys think of the program so far??

Hello and thanks so much for your insight! I was recently accepted to the Summer 2017 cohort! Of course I want to ensure that DeSales will:

1. Make me a competent nurse

2. Help me secure a job (preferably in California which is where I'm from).

Can you please speak to these 2 points? Especially seeing how you're finished with your program! (Congrats btw!)

Hi ayesh786! I was also accepted in DeSales program for Summer 2017 and I am wondering the exact questions you are. I will be moving from Arizona and want to make sure the program is well structured

Hey! Congrats :D Really hope someone can answer my questions. This is my 1st acceptance so far. What about you? Have you been accepted anywhere else?

DeSales expects a commitment by the end of November! lol hope to have a better idea of what I want to do by then.

This is my 2nd acceptance, I was also accepted at Loyola. I am pretty stuck between programs because they seem to have some major differences

I graduated in August 2015. We had a guy in my class move back to Cali. He stopped talking to us, not sure if he ever found a job. Those of us that stayed in PA, we all got jobs; most of us got our top choice job especially if your GPA was decent (>3.0) and if you networked at hospital new grad events.
